Lovely complex has a movie! Check it out here. The cast actually looks reasonable despite being a live-action movie. Could it be a GOOD production?
Mizushima Hiro who is looking really good in Hanakimi is Kamen Rider Kabuto!! No wonder I thought the actor was remotely good looking.
Was digitalising "Mind your Language", the bbc comedy which was super funny but is damn racist.
Didn't go school today as I was feeling rather ill, after the panadol popping and some good rest, now I feel rejuvenated! Sorting and planning the amount of work due next week, tomorrow must head to EV class and discuss the projects to be done. This semester modules didn't allow us to form our own groups for projects- this, on one hand I'm delighted to make new friends, there's a indescribable thrill in networking, however I'm rather wary that the situation that happened last semester might play itself out over again which then again, we now have the experience of looking at things more calmly and in a non-personal way.
Self development is a journey that we must make a conscious effort to practice. For now, i must play with the RMIT Website.
I had a long day today. A good day and a bad day.
First lecture of the semester- RMIT Visit lecturers. As much as I would like to, I really dislike having RMIT guest lecturers. Perhaps it is the cultural differences, but as far as it goes, I get the feeling that they try too hard. They try to be nice but it's only try, the real feelings don't get across. It's like a smile to your face and a frown behind your back. The attempted jokes are straightforward and rather lame. I'm glad I'm not in the main school. I don't get this feeling with SIM lecturers, their lectures are fun to be in and full of laughs.
Ruth gave us a lift to town where I met up with Tiff who happily "complained" that i over-dressed. Haha, it won't happen next week, I'm already tired. First Japanese lessons in two years! The placement test was not easy at all and I screwed up alot and forgot what i had revised last week but in the end, negotiated with the school to let me skip a few lessons and join their class. School fees are expensive, over 300 dollars which i only had half. Again, had to negotiate to let me pay a portion this week and next. Despite all that, class was really fun. Moriyama sensei was really funny and comical, a classmate bought famous donuts from donuts factory in raffles place ( the one where people Q for a few hours), the sensei bought us all starbucks coffee during the break and we all did some self-introductions. I never had some so much fun in a class.
After class, due to some terrible miscommunication, someone ended up waiting more than 1 hour and a half for me and at the incorrect location too, because i had the phone set to silent and forgot to check. For that, I really am very sorry. The after-maths was horrendous and it ended up ruining both our days. This must never happen again.
Did say that i would be more hardworking this semester, still doing homework now at 1am. Anyway, got to sleep early- for class tomorrow morning must not be late.
School is starting soon, so is the days of 24 hours project work. I must complete my to=do list before I get too busy and forget all about it! "Thursday" by the Studs is sounding better each time i hear it, even though Daisuke's vocals doesn't seem to blend in too well. I'm feeeling so restless, i don't know why as if there is something important that i should be doing . >,>
Take driving course
Bring Tafel anatomie
Pack for school- need some supplies: files, notebook
Fix up the printer- black, colour ink out, paper out, covered in dust!
Plan Time table
Am sick today which explains the bad mood. After food poisoning the last night, not being able to sleep the whole night didn't help at all. Been feeling uncomfortable the whole day which makes me wanna kill somebody.
Going to help my brother order some things from CdJapan with the 500+300 yen discount coupon, but his total wasn't high enough to use the coupon so I'm thinking if i should order a tie from S.pot revenge which i have been eying for a while but didn't buy in Japan. Yet again, I forget to bring Tafel Anatomie back. @#$#$214
The J-rock community here at vox is fantastic, getting to watch the latest pvs, sample the newest songs and read reviews about everything is just awesome!
V: I seriously hate you a lot. You're full of bullshit. Once everything is over, I will be able to rant and bitch about you till the whole world knows about your shamelessness.
Okay, because I dont feel like writing a more detailed trip blog, shall post random photos of the trip. All photos can be viewed at my Photobucket Album for anyone who's interested. Of course, all event photos shall be placed here. Apparently my first class for the semester starts on the 2th July and my school time table is not out yet. How terrible of them. In poly I always had the entire semester schedule out early so I can actually plan my days ahead. Am going to attend an e-commerce workshop this Saturday, must go full speed ahead for the future. Shall have a busy quarter, shall not be lazy. That's my goal. Downloaded a whole lot of new songs to sample- have not bought L'arc new album- ARGH.
- 30th June: Workshop
- 30th June: Transformer movie with the gang
Joypolis- The super most fun arcade ever where we experienced a most scary ghost ride involving japanese dolls, shaking chairs and exorcism. Forget all the crappy simulation rides you've ever taken. They have the best here.
Cat In- the largest pet shop for cats ever! Too bad they were closed. The front door structure says it all~ look at that huge mouth!
Daiba Ferris wheel- it's so pretty at night with the ever changing swirly colours. I am now 100% for the marina bay Ferris wheel. It really really helps the skyline.
Tokyo rainbow bridge at night with tokyo tower- my camera rocks!
View of city from the tallest ferris wheel .
Japanese dessert shop and fruits! $25 melons and pretty strawberries. All the fruits here are packaged and look too good to eat.
Shinjuku! Dinner at wendy's- this is a child meal with a toy- hahaha. Our japanese guide said that Japanese people don't eat fast food for dinner unless they have no other choice because they do not regard it as dinner food.
Okay, thats it for now. Bye~
Jet lagged, booked into hotel, short walk and concussion.
Curry rice dinner- oishii! Curry rice is really cheap here- you can diy for 200yen or buy it in stores for 390yen.
Hotel room with TV- not my luggage! Mine is the bed closers to me. Nice decent and cheap hotel! I'm so going to stay here for all future trips now. ;)
Knee socks shopping~ socks are awesome here because it's spring and the temperature is pretty cold in the mornings and night where the sun hides.
Day 2's Rainy Shinjuku streets! Shinjuku is so full of OG like shopping centres, after the third one, we were exhausted.
Me and Paula at Shinjuku bridge! Major train intersection below. All wrapped up in cold spring weather.
Rows of super kawaii toys, argh!
Outside takashimaya times square- 14 levels of takashimaya.
L'arc en ciel on many covers promoting their album launch, all giving free posters! Argh! Didn't buy any because if I do, it would only be for the posters.
Bomb clock! Something to do with defusing the bomb in a limited time when you wake up? Sure to shock one awake.. lol
After that, we went to Akihabara, the prowl grounds of geeks and perverts... lol. Controlled and only window shopped.
Look at that <---! You can catch school uniforms with UFO catchers.
Dress and leg lamps! Great for those with leg fetish. -_-
Catch posters- difficult!
Then after the shops closed at 8.30pm, we moved on to Roppongi to drink.
Hard rock cafe which is suppose to be famous- (like every where else in the world)
Drink- HRC Japan special- Psycho circus (tasted like alcoholic orange juice)
Ok, thats it- 3am now! Good night, Miss you CAT!
I;m in japan! Have lots of photos to upload but i forgot to bring them from the room *sulks* >,> Will upload tomorrow coz it;s getting late here- 1am now and getting tired.
There is so many people here, that one can feel quite insignificant and tiny.
